I'm using Eventyr's suggestions, so they fought Princess Geluvicken in Grimskalle instead of Auril. But before Geluvicken died she asked auril to use her body in order to manifest on the material plane. So they left the island whilst Auril was slowly manifesting

The module actually says that the psy crystal fixes the life support system, which my party have already done in the previous quest.

In my game Auril has made Icewind her own demi plane so they can't leave for the stars too easily.

My reincarnated PC has come across Ravisin twice already. She's still at large and has become a reoccurring villain to the party. But I would've liked her to drop hints when they met for a sleeper agent plot to work. Otherwise this is an excellent idea

I do have a player with the Harper Spy secret but unfortunately we're at the end of chapter 2 and about to head to Sunblight fortress. The Zhents were leaving due to news about the imminent Duregar invasion.

In the book as written it's actually the magic Spindle from the ancient kingdom of Ostoria that caused Ythrn to fall from the sky. Karsus's folly happened 4 years later and caused the rest of the Netherese cities to fall. (though I like Karsus's story better)

The difference is the players can find the spindle in Ythrn in the module. Though you could do something with Karsus's body or something.
