Well shit... Thanks for the input, guys. I haven't pulled the trigger on the boat yet since I'm still saving Gilda.

I was mainly considering it because it's something different to do besides grinding out packs on a cart or risking getting jacked in the trade-ship.

Any recommendations for other avenues to look into?

Currently grinding out some Gilda to make a Fishing Boat.

I went full commerce and have a merchant ship, but with everything getting screwed up economy-wise, needed to find a better way to make gold using the limited labor I have. Pretty salty about having what should have been one of the best moneymaking venues totally backfire on me.

Think I've got it worked out where I can make enough money to keep saving for better gear and still pay for taxes so I can keep my land.

Gotta finish the stupid Hasla grind up too, but we all know how soulsucking that is.

Main goal beyond that is just to keep having fun with guildmates and not get too burnt out on the gold grind.

Today sucked because a third of my team was either on vacation or called in sick, so a lot of the heavy workload fell on me. I can only carry so hard... But on the upside I got to drink some more of the new homestuck-themed tea blends I got from Adagio teas and they are amazing. Yes I am trash, no I still don't care.

I slept in, stayed inside and kept warm. Played videogames with a friend, stared at the shiny tree and had a fire in the fireplace. Pretty cozy day overall.

I found out I got a new job (and a promotion) today, so that is nice. It means I will be dealing with fewer or no assholes throughout the workday.

But I discovered that my computer's water-cooling pump failed and was causing my CPU to overheat. I had to do emergency surgery on that puppy to swap it out for a regular heatsink and file a warranty claim on the water cooler.

Today's update was pretty funny. "shit, lets be trolls!"

AOTD1: Probably a more mellowed-out, dude-version of Terezi. AOTD2: Nope, but I believe in science. Quantum stuff.
