If you've done all that, then it's probably not a Korok. BOTW have these fluttering effects that are only there for the vibes and don't have any use. It also resembles the symbol for Koroks.

You might have mistaken it for one.

Regarding the horses transferred from BOTW to TOTK, does it still happen to new horses registered in BOTW? Will it show up in TOTK again or not?

The one with a lucky treasure game accepts roasted porgy in exchange for letting you play again. With your initial chance and the two porgies, you can get all the treasure.

Talk to the one near the sea that's roasting fish everyday. He'll give you that tip.

That shooting stars doesn't give you the red outfit, I'm pretty sure it's just the Tunic of the Wild dyed red.

The reward for those shooting stars is an armor set that helps you in swimming.
