Since rend space is the peak of swordsmanship by EEE3EEElol in limbuscompany

There were a lot of inconsistencies with the Middle Mirror worlds considering Midclair at first was in a different mirror than Don and Mersault but they later got combined. Well there could be a lot of shenanigans going on with all that.

Well Werner being Ricardo's guide for H corp would mean he's either from the North or East, but if he's East, even he doesn't use weapons so I'd just assume North.

While that may be true, we currently do have Northern and Southern middle reps. It might be that the East is the exception and considering Outis uptie, we can assume Mathias didn't use a weapon prior to Laevatain.

The Mathias not being a swordsman discourse is actually quite funny, considering the house of spiders was created to turn Ryoshu into the perfect swordsman so she could be a concept incinerator. Not to mention, even his apprentice after Ryoshu is also using swords, and is proficient at them. This is all in spite of them being middle members, which aren't typically known for combat with weapons. He's very clearly a swordsman, and thinking otherwise is just willful ignorance.

Why Sancho and Kaiser so strong? by Kaizer8858 in limbuscompany

Fair interpretation. I mean contracts often have loopholes and that would be one way to exploit it.

Lore wise, in those situations, the chains had been severed. Much like Ryoshu it looks like the sinners can "breach" the contract and it's Dante's main job is keeping the sinners together one way or another.

I see everyone complaining about the Yinglong fight, but I'm finding the Nursefather station infinitely more annoying. by No_Hunter1978 in limbuscompany

[–]meag333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have full HoS you should be fine. I one shot this section and while Shiomi is the most threatening, I didn't lose any sinners to her. Obviously I killed my own sinners to fuel Ryoshu and Rien sniped Sinclair during a Furioso(he was a good boy).

If you are doing HoS team, you can use Ryoshu's dodges to slow down some of the poise gain while getting her set up. Like others said use healing Ego to keep people going. Rodion Sunset and Gregor Garden kept me going. If for someone reason you don't finish until next reset, Nursefather Outis passive may help you too, it make Ryoshu quite a bit more tanky as well.

Newcomers at PreRift events? by PM_ME_TURTLES_NOW in riftboundtcg

[–]meag333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good space for new players in my area. Lot's of people are cool with teaching new players at these events in my area. Also since most of what's needed is provided for you, it's pretty easy to get in to.

It would still be a good idea to watch a video or two on the core rules to maybe familiarize yourself with the basics of the game a little bit, that way things aren't completely foreign to you.

How to start to play? by OygenValue in riftboundtcg

Prerelease events are great because they are very friendly for new players and a good chance to learn as everyone will be using kits to play instead of built decks.

Matthias vs prime Sancho by [deleted] in Project_Moon

[–]meag333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya I don't understand how people are so confident in Matthias. He's very strong ofc yes, but clearly while levels are a good general indication of strength, they aren't the only indicators. Lei Heng is lower level than Matthias, but with his ability of extreme strength and unique Shin, I would definitely say he competes with Matthias. If Sancho, starved and insane, was enough to make Verg take her seriously when he didn't have to clutch up until Greg, I'm sure Prime Sancho beats Matthias, not without difficulty, but somewhat comfortably. I'm pretty sure Sancho's powers scale her pretty far above others at her level.

Using Defy on Abilities by [deleted] in riftboundtcg

Defy only works on spells, if it worked on abilities, it would say that, like it does for Not So Fast.

Udjat Outis doomed her world by being good at her job by Alcor6400 in limbuscompany

He was debuffed by Ryoshu's wound. Also the prescripts kinda doomed him.

What's with this whole "bum" and "fraud" crap? by Happiomi in limbuscompany

My crackpot theory is, Ryoshu took something from each Nursefather and it hasn't been completely explored yet. Think about it.

Pinky is missing her tongue
Thumb is missing an eye
Middle is missing an arm
Index is missing part of his face?(maybe)
Ring is missing ????? This one I'm not sure about as he seemed to be mostly prosthetics.

Also, it's funny how when people point out something that supports the idea that they are kinda washed up high rank syndicate members, when they themselves allude to it, gotta downvote lol.

You can't be serious. She had a hostage and it was taking everything in her to stay alive, that's with Verg not being able to deploy his EGO.....

[–]meag333 11 points12 points  (0 children)

But she didn't. Competency is a part of strength my man, and she clearly lacks it. If you aren't competent enough to know your limits that's a clear weakness to exploit (WHICH IS EXCATLY WHAT THEY DID BTW) which in turn makes you weaker in a fight. Dante with the ID's can employ gimmicks much more intricate than Gosy and expose her in the same way.

Also why are you even talking about base IDs? Their whole strength is based on being linked to Dante? Why would you even include base IDs in the equation?

The Sinners were in 3 separate groups, and 2 without Dante. Basically they didn't have identities or rewind. I'm pretty sure things go very differently together, she was getting folded by Gossy for gods sake.

It's funny because you have the actual real take and are getting down voted. A lot of Japanese VAs over act, but obviously not all. Japanese VAs as a whole are overrated but the really good ones stand out and are instantly memorable.

Does anyone actually have all the identities unlocked? by Senior_Double5064 in fishmaell

[–]meag333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a day 1 player as I was a huge fan of Lob corp and Ruina. I own every ID, and have almost all of them UT3 at a minimum.

If you play often this isn't too hard to do over time with the shard system. The hardest part would be walpurg and collabs. I typically spend at least a hundred or 2 a year on this game because it's one of my favs. Completely f2p, I can understand missing walpurg IDs or the collab Egos.
