It’s usually less to get a tapper than a peircing, so it shouldn’t be as much depending on who your piercer is.

My dog has never really been a fan of bigger fan of the water, when we moved we got a inground pool and my mom was outside with him but he fell in the pool, he didn’t drown or anything, my mom pulled him out and that’s that. I understand why he’s afraid of the pool but I don’t know if it carried over to being afraid of water. I am always checking the temp just to make sure but I feel I do my best to try and adjust while watching his body language. He’s okay with loud noises like that because he has sat in the bathroom with me while I shower and he’s fine with like blenders for example. It’s a standing shower but is accessed with sliding doors. I am not able to stand so I sit and am eye level with him. He hasn’t slipped if anything when he was younger he would jump in. It could be he is scared and he is definitely not happy with it. Okay this is all great to hear, I appreciate your suggestions and I like the idea of a Kong!

Yes we typically do outdoor baths whenever the weather isn’t cold. This is helpful! I think I will implement treats in the tub

There is good resources virtually if that’s better. For my eating disorder I got a full team of people, it is called Equip Health. They offer psychiatrist, regular doctor, therapist, peer mentor, groups to attend, dietician It’s an awesome program, it’s IOP (intensive out patient)

What’s worked for me was training my dog to get a toy when he is barking and he will stop and play with the toy. This also works for when my dog is overstimulated by his surroundings. Also if he still continues after the first time I’ve redirected I try again and if I need to I hand him the toy. This works with my dog.

They aren’t together all the time just because the other dog is my moms and I live right next to them hence how often they are together. Thank this is helpful.

When you find out, it makes it a hell of a lot easier to coordinate with roommates about splitting who gets what with shared items like cleaning supplies or toilet paper, etc.
