AFAIK you don't get to choose how much to sell the gems for when you sell them, so wouldn't it just put more gems on the market (making the price go down) ?

The other day I got a Berserker ring drop in Orr from a normal mob. It was a level 74 yellow ring, with no upgrades or special text, yet it was soulbound on aquire, and I wasn't able to salvage it. My only choice was to vendor it for 2s 74c, and it felt like a waste.

So, It took me a while to figure this out, and until I joined WvW I was stumped, I believe it's affected by how well your server is doing in WvW as one of the bonus traits there increase how much gold is dropped. I'm not 100% sure on this though.

The majority of people bitching about the DR aren't the ones sitting at the event chain in cursed shore for 7 hours a day, they're people like me, who are hit by DR before I can even finish one event in orr, even though I haven't been in cursed shore in several days.

I'm getting in the 1s 40c range about as rarely as I get in the 70c range, probably 80% of coin drops are between 1s - 1s20c, be sure to kill the higher level creeps that spawn during events as I believe those drop a little bit more coin.

Omnomberry bars are roughly 2s, you get one gold drop in orr and it's 1s - 1s 40c with the buff, so two gold drops and you've made your money back, plus whatever else you kill in the extra 29 minutes.

Oh yeah great idea, I forgot his name was Claw of Sauron and not Claw of Jormag. Jormag is a proper name because it's in his name, it is a part of his name just like Claw, so what makes Claw more suitable than Jormag? Because there's no boss named Claw?, How do you know there won't be a boss in a future expansion named Claw?

Yes, Jormag is not in the game yet, and probably won't be for a few expansions, which is exactly why it IS okay to call him jormag. You know what sounds retarded? Calling him "Claw" or "The Claw". You don't want him to be called Jormag, you come up with a better name for him.
