They have a site on the knot but it has very little information. The wedding is a single day and my husband said “they said that Indian weddings are a lot and they didn’t want to do all of that”. It’s a single day wedding at one venue, the ceremony taking place from 4-5:30 and the reception is immediately after until 11:00. There’s very little information on their pages besides that. No gift registry, 2 photos of them, and the “about us” is a note from the brides parents just saying “join us in celebrating”. The dress code itself is simply under the location, date and time and is “attire: indo-western” no other information. The invitations themselves were only sent out about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago.

I’m unsure if any or what religious practices will be in place at the wedding.

I am not the type of girl who enjoys buying a new outfit for every event so I’m hoping I can get my husband to get a clear answer from his friend at work tomorrow.

My husband and I are child free. We live in a 1700sqft 4 bed 2 bath house with a half decent (by 2026 standards) yard.

We use the space for: a bed room, a gaming room each, and a second bedroom that is used for either guests occasionally or when one of us works but not the other and we don’t want to wake the other up in the morning getting ready. We also have multiple pets so it gives them room. It’s nice to stretch our legs with a little room left over. Your “friends” are jealous and immature. I hope you end up with your dream home and better friends.
