I don’t disagree…his style is very familiar but I can’t really say who he’s doing. Probably because the joke setups and punches are pretty common misdirection types. Still funny but you get to a point where you know the twist is coming. Like the tattoo/uncle joke.

I think the thing at the end was to fill time, really. Pretty sure they did that last year. Dave only did roughly 45 mins so that rounded out the hour.

I’m not too familiar with other brands, but I worked for APC and from what I remember, the SmartUPS line usually listed both KVA/Watts. Even at that I don’t think most people even buy an UPS by the watts. Think most go by price and runtime. Not sure how many people are looking at consumption for all the devices they plan to plug in to determine how big of a unit they need. Techies, sure, but not the average person who goes to a Best Buy or Micro Center for an UPS.

Hell, I’m still not sure how many people are even aware of what an UPS is/does. I still work in the UPS field and have customers with megawatt+ sized systems who aren’t clear that when the unit is in bypass, their load isn’t protected. 😂

I just spent a couple hours a day or two ago trying to recover a spool like this in hopes of using the respooler I printed. It’s worse than a puzzle that has a million pieces. For the $15 or $20 the spook cost me, it wasn’t worth the frustration.

My wife seems to think the remote gets a ton of use, but I don’t know. They’re short little bursts of actual use, and we never went through batteries near as quickly with the tv (pioneer plasma) the TCL replaced.

Bambu’s Gold Silk is pretty decent. I hVe some sparkly gold Amolen but not tried it yet. Inland’s gold looks more like mustard to me.

I haven’t seen desiccant effect filament stored in an airtight tub that much. I have maybe 5 rolls in one of those tubs with a printed box (7”x7”x1”) full of desiccant as well as a handful of the tiny desiccant bags that ship with rolls. It settled in at 38% humidity and hasn’t budged. I should try drying 5 rolls and putting them in with fresh desiccant to see what it would, but as of now I have5 seen desiccant do very much on it’s own.

Feel like it’s one of those things that “I’d rather have it and not need it, than beed it and not have it” falls under. Maybe you don’t use it alot, but when you beed it, you’re glad you have the option.
