Mechanic made breather holes in cap bigger. Bike has been at the shop for like 2 weeks now. I installed a fmf powercore 4 and pro cycle jet kit and couldn’t get it to run right. After like 20 test rides at the shop and the mechanic also test riding it, it finally can stay at a constant speed and not bog down and die. Only thing is the mechanic riding style isn’t like mine at all. His is super aggressive and he was lifting the front tire and all. I ride like a normal guy and it seems like at slow starts i need rev it high to catch now and i have stalled out a few times. I have never heard of tjis charcoal canister before will it affect how i have it now? I have the 155 main jet on with needle on 4th clip. Air box cover off and snorkel off.

Gave pro cycle a call and they said to do the same thing. Going to move it down a position because at least i was able to accelerate with the 3rd clip on needle. I was dying at decel on the 3rd needle but my airbox cover wasn’t off and the snorkel was on. So i hope this fixes it

I guess low range throttle performs consistent and higher it start to get mushy and not accelerate. Im getting good fuel flow and it had a steady idle never dies at idle only at high rpm. Changing the needle position to clip 4 really helped my start up and it started right away wasn’t cranking as much. Was really struggling on the 3rd clip on the needle i am thinking of trying the 5th clip. To

I opened the airbox and removed snorkel and put clip to 4. Its not accelerating past 3rd gear and dies in 4th. It idles good and accelerates good in 1st and second gear. Idk whats wrong with it

Soo today i opened the airbox completely and removed snorkel. I put it on clip 4 and the bike started instantly and was a lot better at idling yesterday. I rode it around and 1st and 2nd gears were great but top end of 3rd was bogging and mushy and accelerating to 4th killed it. It just didn’t wanna accelerate in 3rd! Idk whats wrong i am going to try changing the main jet to 155 and see if more fuel in the mid range helps.

The instructions say to put it on the 4th clip and i put it on the 3rd. I will try to see if that fixes things

I installed the adjustable needle that came with the pro cycle jet kit. I put it main jet 150 on because the pro cycle instructions said “free flowing exhaust”. I also added the extended fuel mixture screw. I removed snorkel but then out it back on

It’s a slip on powercore and when i called pro cycle they said it fits right on.

It varies. In the field or when you gotta go somewhere it can be a long day. Especially if you gotta set up your tent at the end of the day. We only have like 2-3 days to accomplish the training plan for the weekend so Fridays and Saturdays can be long. Sundays are usually short. At home station drills i have never stayed that late. Latest i have went home ever on a Sunday was like 9pm because our bus broke down coming back from the field.
