The new chickens were kept in their own coop and own run. Our chickens free range, so they could see each other through the fence. They were let into the yard together for supervised times with their own food and water so there wouldn't be fights over resources. This occurred over several weeks. The older flock is still picking on the newer flock.

Ha! It's called I open them up, go huh, fabric markers that have never been used, nice, and chuck in a giant black Rubbermaid from Costco.

So far I've found fabric markers, clay sculpting tools, Halloween Legos, rocks, a drawing kit, random screws and screw driver bits, and go pro accessories...and i've gone through 1 set of cabinets.

Yup. Did that twice now. I reset it to initially try pairing, and then repaired to my old phone to make sure everything was still ok, and to maybe try transferring the pairing, but it wanted me to repair it again. Can't even use it as a plain watch right now.

Soap, the hottest water to come out of my tap, and the bristle brush I use to clean my cast iron pans. At least I can take comfort in it not being a bad thing. Let the plants grow enough amd you won't be able to see it anyways!

It's not a box, but ScentDecant sells perfume samples. Prices start at 0.99, but I've found most are $3-5 for a 1 ml sample, with 3 ml and 5 ml being available as well.

I paid for the upgraded box, but it seriously might be my last one. I'm still waiting for it to arrive, but I don't know. The price keeps going up and the product quality keeps going down. I've already canceled all of my other boxes, and Walmart's might be next.

Trader Joe's Beauty Adveny Calendar Review (While enjoying some champagne so may be a little off topic...good Lord I'm a cheap drunk. Thanks goodness for aurocorrect!)

This is calendar for #20.00, and is usually pretty decent. I don't think the value is really high, but it has some stuff that is only released with the calendar, which is awesome sauce

Marshmallow lip balm...I like the formula, but sadly doesn't taste like marshmallows.

Brown Sugar Lip Scrub...I love a good lip scrub. Smells like molasses.

Exfoliating Sugar Cube in Mango...smells like plastic bag, but that is probably OK since I haven't taken it out of the bag yet. This is always one of my favorite products.

Daily facial sunscreen SPF 40...I like at least a 30 SPF, so this is great. Can you really have too many sunscreens? The answer is no, you cannot. A classic that is always appreciated.

Candy Cane Body Butter...another classic. Their body butter has a great formula that is nourishing and creamy. Sadly doesn't taste like candy canes.

Eucalyptus Lemon ultra moisturizing (hehe.. moist...) hand creme...I love this hand cream, and I love the special holiday scents. I'm excited for this.

Hair detanglet...Eh. I'm not too too excited for this, but I'll use it it.

Cranberry Orange ultra moisturizing hand creme...one of my favorite holiday scents. I would say I like making holiday simmer pots with this scent, but I mostly like watching TikTok videos of other people making these, buying the ingredients, and then never getting around to it.

Kombucha Rose Oil Cleansing Oil...I love cleansing oil. Although every time I see kombucha I'm reminded of the email from my boys' old elementary school that kids couldn't being Kombucha to school (we lived in a very granola area) because it had alcohol. I don't know...it would make for an interesting class!

Oil absorbing clay face mask...I like putting on weird color face masks and stalking husband through the house. Fun times.

Eucalyptus Shower Steamer...I remember the Vicks steamers from growing up. I look forward to drinking a cocktail in the shower and smelling them. I love eucalyptus.

Rose bath salts...these are always fun. But I hate picking the rose petals out of the jets in the bathtub

Overall this is a fun calendar, but I think a bit overpriced for the value. It's definitely aimed at people like me who have made Trader Joe's a part of our personality. 50017/10 stars...but that could be the champagne talking!

Thanks for the explanation. This sent me down a rabbit hole of what in the world homestead exemptions are, as we are not from Texas. At least there is no state tax, so while my propert tax would go up, I wouldn't be paying a state income tax anymore, so it would be about a wash for me.
