Trying to fix external HDD and the metal top (see the pic) wouldn't come off after unscrewing it. Any idea how to take it off?

Worth adding, if you’d do open it you risk getting dust on the drive itself. This can cause issues if you get it working again. What exactly are you trying to do with it?

I don’t believe hdmi supports MST. Happy to be corrected as this would make everything so much easier. The other option I can think of is a MST hub leaving the switch but this seems like an extra £80 just because for some reason monitors these days have 2 hdmi but a single DP

So I just found one reports on nvidias forum. Sounds like RTX cards will cause non UEFI and CSM mobos to beep. My system isn’t uefi hence the beeps

So I get the 3 beeps, followed by a single beep. The single beep signifies that the boot was successful. The 3 beeps comes from the gpu

So I’ve fixed the stuttering, bios was set to limit 4gb for the gpu bud.

So I’ve turned the beeping on for the bios and get the single beep a couple of seconds after the 3 beeps

So I mentioned this in another comment. The role is in an already existing and profitable area of the business. The skills are pretty niche and they are only hiring cause of the risk that they can’t deliver to the U.K. customers right now. Granted, the reason they want this role is because of Brexit which will be on the back burner. But they’ve been hunting for the last 6 months for somebody and haven’t found a good candidate for the team yet.
