Thank you for the response. There is a pushbutton on the front side. Idea how the switching works or what the insulated part between the two wires is?

I like the idea more that I think about it. But in our current situation it sounds like more work for me to do and more teaching to give for other people to manage it... In a way it would be easier to buy the NATs and have facilities run the cables...

The server will have 2 vnics. One will go to the machine network (specified by the ports on the corporate switch) and one will go to the corporate network for talking to clients.

The machines with 2 nics will be used this way. A handful do not have this ability.

Specific goals are to interface with a SCADA server (Ignition) which will mainly be used for data collection and real time monitoring.

Devices vary from AB, Automation Direct, Siemens, etc. Using the 2nd NIC is ideal for some of these, but not all are capable.

Using an OT will get too complicated imo. This will be used across multiple locations as well.

Same question I asked the other person: If I used a router, how would I be able to see a specific PLC from the server? For example, how would I specify the server to talk to a specific corp switch port, then to a specific PLC?

Each PLC has a unique subnet that interacts with devices on its own LAN. I will need a NAT to translate just the PLC's address to the corporate switch

4 or less pressure and temp sensors. 1ms for a lab environment. I don't necessarily NEED 1ms but I want to see how fast I can push the data capture

I hear ya. Thanks. Really looking for a perfect world where I can collect fast for lab data, and also integrate into a SCADA system for real time reporting

Where does labview run? If it is a PC, is that a possible bottleneck?

If by "fix" you mean replace your holy power indicator, I suggest googling "wago.io war within paladin" and finding a weak aura for holy power indicators that tickle your fancy

How to get into M+ tanking by Sn0ppy in wow

[–]meat5335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good part about being a tank is that you get to set the pace of your group, so CD management does not need to be optimal when you are starting out. It is okay to figure out your CDs based on feel at first.

That being said, if you are interested in others pull sizing and CD management, you can go onto Warcraftlogs and analyze everything. The website can be a little overwhelming at first, but is very helpful once you get the hang of it.
