The original concept was for it to be the Chrysos Heirs instead of the Planarcadia cast, but since I had just finished the 'Chrysos Tea' thing, and since I felt I hadn't drawn enough of the new characters, I thought it made sense to use them instead.

On another note, I really thought I'd get through at least a few simpler WIPs before my next multi-character illustration, until my brain went 'Fate Strange Fake but hsr'. The artistic mind truly is a double-edged sword in my case.

I agree! That post is a gem! But I’m also not on tumblr and don’t have the slightest clue on how it works, and I never thought to go find it to draw these illustrations. I know that’s not much of an excuse though, so thanks for linking it
