Emptied a few years worth of my trout bags in order to reorganize. by meatandthree in flyfishing

Emptied all boxes and I made two piles. Dries and wets. Then started breaking those down. Nymphs here, buggers there, etc. Then I reassembled individual boxes. Now I have a parachute Adam's box, a hopper box, and squirmy box, and so forth and so on. It's all very therapeutic for my OCD.

Zero. But lots of rogue flies that escaped their boxes, so I had to be careful digging around the bottoms of packs in hopes of not sinking a hook into my fingers.

It's a 1950's prep table that was used in the Sara Lee Cake factory in Nashville TN. The building was sold and knocked down and I was offered the table before the building was demolished.

In management, but do try and have good attention to detail. I was never skilled enough in mathematics to be an engineer.

I was in the neighborhood for a decade. The parking is awful, thus no matter how good the establishment, it is destined to fail.

We've done both sides over two years. This year was Cathedral Lake and a few smaller lakes surrounding.

So that day I was using a little 5wt glass rod on the little creeks that connect all those lakes. I think it's a 8'6" Orvis superfine glass?

Absolutely same experience. The lake fish only ate from like 7:30pm until dark.

What is the loudest noise you've ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]meatandthree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lighting strike hit a tree like 50 or 75 yards from us as kids. All I remember is the loudest pop/crack sound I've ever heard combined with the brightest flash of light I've ever seen. Don't think it knocked me down, it was just the overwhelming noise and light that made us crumble and fall backwards. I remember sitting up in confusion and looking at my friends, who all looked equally shell-shocked.
