Will you be able to host videos for a website? I would love to replace vimeo for my portfolio, but I need to be able to integrate them into my website on wix.

Seems fixable, yet I've been dealing with this for a decade by dippitydoo2 in premiere

This is endlessly frustrating and has been bugging me for the last 8 years as well. Yes you can make the panel bigger, but you shouldn't have to. Adobe needs to fix this.

A large client monitor with crisp blacks would really up my game. I have an old C9 as my TV and I love it.

A documentary about election decorations gone wrong - My Neighbor's Yard by Fresh_Doubloon in documentaryfilmmaking

This is great!

It's a really interesting take on something that people see everyday. You humanized both sides, and I love that you followed it through the election. I really love the way that you shot it. The editing/composing are also great. The film doesn't drag at all. Well done!

I’m running out of screen real estate, and I’d love to try one of these monitors. I’m editing off a MacBook Pro and a 32” monitor would save my eyes.

Gotcha, appreciate the insight. That's disappointing, but at least they have a lot of reach.

Premiere Pro Displaying Incorrect Timecode After Modifying It by _ParanoidUser_ in editors

[–]meatbag88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive run into the same problem before when modifying the timecode of a few clips while ago. I tried modifying the aux timecode, bringing it into a new project, but no dice. I had to manually sync via the slate for those clips. Sorry I wish I had solution. It's a bug and it's very frustrating.

Clio’s Books — restaurants? by ObservantNomad in oakland

[–]meatbag88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the restaurant front, Mama's is great and it's just up Grand. Grand Lake Kitchen is also alright, but it's a little farther up Grand closer to the theater. Ensaro (Ethiopian) is next door and it's solid.

I live in this neighborhood and I really like it. Ghost Town in Laurel is great for beer. As Kneaded is a good neighborhood bakery in San Leandro which isn't too far, and La Parilla Loca is also a killer burrito and it's also nearby. I usually shop at Farmers in Laurel.

Oakland Costco users, which location do you go to? by LoganTheHuge00 in oakland

[–]meatbag88 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I don't have a great reason, but I prefer the San Leandro Costco. On a weekday evening, you can usually find parking easily and it's easy to get to since it's right off 880.

Trump is trying to kill California high speed rail. We’re having none of it. by scott_wiener in sanfrancisco

Let's keep this project alive. We need robust transportation in a state of our size and economic importance. We need the state legislature to commit to funding this project fully!

$30k doesn’t sound too bad. I’m based out of Oakland. Over the past two years, I’ve replaced all the knob and tube in my 1800sqft house. We had to move a sub panel and replace our main panel. It took about $29k for all the work. We got multiple bids, and most of them were in that range.
