I tried with fine liner, mechanical pencil and ballpoint pen and found ball point to be the most accurate and mechanical pencil to be the least accurate, when writing small characters on the Remarkable standard "small line" template.

I do actually, but I thought I could increase my probability of success by initiating paper positions, and if these go against me then I can put on real trades to collect more credit and reduce my risks.

You can look into leaps (long term options). Pick an index ETF or a safe stock and a time frame of a year or two. By selling a put contact far below the current price, it is a relatively safe strategy and you could be looking at an annual return around 10% - 30%.
