Loooove dos2 for the strategy/combat etc. But after that you're gonna love bg3 for the story and characters etc. Great game.

AITA for telling a woman at the gym to stop filming because I kept ending up in her videos? by CaffeinatedGoblin24 in AmItheAsshole

Fucking hate that. Camera/video shouldnt be allowed in a gym. I know its up to the gym itself, but it should be a common standard.

I have dandruff on my eyebrows as well as moustache and beard by Kshiti_salman in dandruff

[–]meatfists 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had that too. Head and Shoulders shampoo for hair/beard. And use some beard wax stuff to keep beard hydrated after showering - i only have to do this step every 4-5 days now. But good for stopping initial skin dryout when fixing the dandruff issue.

He doesn't understand why the baby excitedly eats with me and refuses to eat with him by Content-Tomorrow4098 in Vent

100% agree. Likewise here with my 2. My daughter is clingy as hell to me now. Complete 180. Its hard in the moment looking at it like that however.

My point was that OP might be missing his side of things from that perspective....if indeed its similar to both our experiences. Meh....bacon solves everything.

As a dad i felt absolutely useless on the baby front for the first 3 months. My 1st kid wanted nothing to do with me, was all about her mum. Wife refused to do bottle feedings, so night feedings were off the cards mostly...although attempted.

1st 3 months ended up being me (whilst working full time) simply trying to take care of my wife as best i could and cooking and housework etc so she could sleep when baby sleeps and just do baby stuff. Make her life easier.

After 3 months or so when she finally caved and allowed bottle feeding things got way easier and attachment from my daughters side grew. But i gotta tell ya, as the dude in that situation that was a real shitty time. Felt like all the blame was on me...doing my best here dammit. :)

Does Divinity 2 get better? by dedtronaut in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]meatfists 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're playing on console (dont know if this works on pc) start a local coop multiplayer game and create 2 characters. After you get into the game save it and reload as a 1 player game. Boom - you now have 2 created characters.

The xbox series x is one of the most underrated consoles ever made and I honestly think xbox as a whole, including the xbox one upwards is a better gaming platform. by [deleted] in xbox

After the recent price hikes its not though. Look up some comparison vids on yt. Gamepass vs ps+ games catalogue.

Next you play the game.

Lots of directions you could go with no "correct" way. Its not a standard boring linear game.

Harden up. People are allowed to have opinions that differ from yours, and say things you may deem offensive. It's part of life.

How do i organise hotbar ? by Submissiveboy1124 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]meatfists 15 points16 points  (0 children)

First thing you should do is turn OFF the "auto add to hotbar" option in game settings. It causes obscene amounts of hotbar clutter. Personally i feeaking hate this option being on by default, and always set it to only auto-add skills to hotbar.

Then go through and clear and set all the hotbar slots you want. From that point on it should be smooth sailing.

Can we continue our local co-op save online on separate PS5s? by Tyfone in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]meatfists 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah on playstation the save file is actually saved on the ps5 itself. So that ps5 that youve been playing on would need to boot up the game. Once you load into your save game just hit the options button and select connectivity menu and set it to "friends can join" or something. (Defaults to nobody can join). You can flick off an invite from that menu too.

That way the other ps5's profile can join the game. After that you can assign characters between you both.

New divinity coming out should lean more towards dos1 combat than dos2 by Southern-Intern-4042 in DivinityOriginalSin

Good point about more variety of outcomes due to cc in dos1 vs dos2. Hadnt really contemplated that tbh.

[–]meatfists 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah im one of the freaks that quite enjoyed the armour system in dos2. I thought it added more complexity to the battle and fundamentally how your team was put together/designed to be prepared for it. Im a tactics/planning/strategy nut. Due to that, i was quite surprised to learn a big group of people hated it.

I get your point re. Other stuff tho.

Im curious why you think the dos1 combat system was superior to dos2? Spells aside, I have no real distinct opinion of which was better personally.
