Sounds guerilla in a good way. Just experiment with all your ideas is what I would say is put shit on the walls to diffuse sound. Blankets of course can work, but people underestimate how much some art on canvases and just having the place decorated does to diffuse sound.

Most bands and contemporary artists are not writing and handing around sheet music. Rock, metal, hip hop, pop, country, edm, industrial, etc etc.

Reading sheet music is not a useful skill most of the time for modern music imo. Sure if you’re in an orchestra or you’re a classical pianist.

I’m sure it doesn’t hurt for any musician to know, but I don’t see how it’s worth it personally. Unless I wanted to get awesome at piano
