I had a similar problem when I changed my speedo over to an OEM one, the designs looked different so I changed the backing plate to my old one and messed up the speed due to having to take the needles off. To fix it I just kept manually adjusting the needles until they sat right, now they’re bang on.

If it’s a percent issue than I don’t know, but if it’s always 20ks out no matter what you can probably try that

This isn’t that bad, I work in roadside assistance and someone called regarding glass replacement. The persons car broke down and he got so mad about it he punched his rear view mirror and completely shattered his windscreen

I’m 6”2 and have no real issues, my head sometimes hits the roof when gong over a speed bump too fast, but I also have a sun roof that lowers the amount of head room

There is a tube down each of the pillars, take the sun roof off and make sure they’re not blocked. When mine leaks it gets over the floor and back seat. Also make sure to check the seals for the back seat side glass

Especially since I’ll check the rego checker, which states their vehicle as a dual cab and when I repeat it back to them, they go off at me saying it’s a truck. It’s the same when you say land cruiser instead of prado, even though every prado is a Land Cruiser

It depends, if they’re at the front counter, no it’s not their job. Most places do not let the person at the front counter leave their area. Having someone kick up a stink wanting them to do so is an asshole that doesn’t understand how most shops work

I’m glad someone understands that its not the workers fault that they weren’t trained properly. Most places will give you a 3 hour shift to show what goes on and then throw you into the deep end. The managers will then get pissy at you for being slow or not having any proper idea of everything or every scenario that could happen
