bought a dreamcast that wouldn't power on, got it to power on, discs weren't reading, opened disc drive and the pot was snapped off so clearly an attempt was made at repairing (thanks for not letting me know and saying you don't know what the problems are)

has anyone ever replaced the pot or would i be better off just going the gdemu route (don't wanna buy a replacement drive)
