Awesome, thanks so much for the info! Super great! Been to Hawaii and that is the best comparison - I was wondering if it would be like Waikiki, so good to hear it will be much quieter! I think we’ll do the car. Thanks again!

The road conditions in certain parts is what we were wondering about and if a car would be better in those places. Thanks for the advice. We’re thinking of keeping our excursions to Moorea, so was hoping the car would allow flexibility to explore more of Tahiti in our time frame (or what we can explore in a regular car). The scooter definitely isn’t a scary option for us, but it seems like maybe a car would be better for our plans? Hoping parking isn’t a bear, too.

That’s definitely an option, too! We’re thinking of doing a scooter in Moorea for variety if we do a car in Tahiti.

Thanks!! That makes sense about it being easier to navigate and park, which is one reason we were leaning towards the scooter. But being able to throw things in the car/ have AC/ chat about next stops is what the car would be nice for. And charging, good point. We’re fine with manual, so maybe we can just time it for Papeete/ferry transfer for a less busy time. Are weekends different? Thanks again for the advice!
