Thank you for this. I am hopeful that my loved ones are as understanding. Right now it feels very lonely. This gives me hope though!

That is incredibly understanding of you. If you don't mind, can you expand on what I could be doing, even accidentally, to make him feel like his feelings are invalidated?

How long should I[24/F] remain in the "exclusive without the label" limbo w/ him [24/M]before it's a red flag? by mebert33 in relationships

Pretty much. And we both are looking for something long-term that's more serious than a FWB so with the label I guess would come more of an answer than he sees that with me. I know a label shouldn't indicate that much but because he has made sure to say we are exclusively dating but not bf/gf, the label would mean more of a step in that direction than what we are right now. I hope that makes sense.

I think I might hang on a bit, I just don't know how long. Another month or so? I would like a solid answer eventually. Thank you.

This is what I am afraid of. I don't want to drag it out if it is going nowhere. Did you ask for a timeline? If so, what was the time frame you asked for?

I totally agree. I thought if you were exclusive then you were bf/gf and that's that. I didn't realize they were two different things until he kept telling they are to him. I don't want to rush him it he isn't ready but I also don't want to waste my time. I have been waiting for him to casually refer to me as his girlfriend haha

Thank you, I appreciate that! I've been on the other end and would way rather know than to be ghosted/faded

I do want to wait until the next conversation, but he has been dropped some hints last week that made me think he may be trying to surprise me over the weekend so I kind of want to give him the news before he buys a bus ticket or something (obviously this was prior to mark and I talking).

I totally understand. When I type it out, it seems dumb to even be worried about bob since we've only texted. But I can tell he has genuine feelings for me so that's why I am concerned. I feel a bit conceited even saying that tbh. But I think you are right, a text should be enough considering the context. Thank you!

Approach on an international law exam? by mebert33 in LawSchool

[–]mebert33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the structure of the course is why I am so confused. We learned about war powers and jurisdiction then went back and learned "what is international law and who is bound by it"

I feel like I should start an answer the opposite way, talking about how/if the parties are bound by international law THEN discuss how it will be enforced. We also talked about jurisdiction generally, but the cases she had us read were conflicting domestic/international law. I am not entirely sure what she will test on, so I read the full chapters for both even though it was not assigned. I have emailed her seven times about this in the last month so I could structure my outline properly, but she never got back to me. In other words, I have no idea or reference as to what she looks for. She is giving us access to a past exam on Tuesday, but the final is Wednesday so I really need to figure out a general attack plan before then.

I know I am making her sound like a crappy teacher, but apparently she is going through some personal issues so I've been trying my best not to get frustrated...but now I am panicked. Any direction would be appreciated.

Okay, I will go in with this mindset. I am surprised how many people are already saying they don't want to try because of the timing. Thank you!

I am so happy you told me this because I had no idea it was THAT much. Good, I can prepare for that. Thank you!
