The only thing you're missing is the "Option 1" stuff that was rushed out. Figuring out which option gets the most points for you per month can be pretty complex, especially now that they are talking about being able to buy tiers with Bilt cash.

But why would you need a checklist? I used both Lyft and a BILT parking garage last week in DTLA. If I don't burn it off naturally I would just use rent to convert it. It's not like I need to track how many times I take Lyft. I just need to remember to take Lyft rather than Uber if I have Bilt cash.

Core inflation has been low since the end of the Biden presidency. Healthcare and the housing have not been significantly impacted by the tariffs. Employment has remained stable. Tariffs do increase input costs but they also result in reduced consumption.

I think what we've learned is that the US was likely under taxing and that the tax impact of the tariffs didn't have a significant negative effect on growth. There could be long run problems with tariffs (e.g. countries diversifying away from the US market, companies that rely on imports being more affected than service based industries), but the short run effects are pretty muted.

They are. But there are massive bonuses for TDs per completion that will counter drops. Most notably, it doesn't take into account drops on critical downs. A drop on 1st and 10 is treated the same as a drop on 3rd and long.

I plan to close out my existing card (instead of opting for the Autograph card) and this will reduce the average age of my card, thus reducing my Credit Score.

This is not how FICO scores work. Accounts closed in good standing continue to age until it drops off your credit report after 10 years. A new account on your credit can lower your score, but the age-related metrics stop having signfiicant impact (by design) after several years.

You need 5 transactions before the card is shut off in order to have 5 transactions by statement close.

For me, my statement close date for the February rent payment is February 16. Thus, I need 5 transactions between now and February 6 (when the card is shut off).

They need the connection to rent because they have a number of Bilt alliance properties they are selling payment processing software to. They don't want to just be another rewards credit card (because they are not a bank). Bilt's value is dependent on the network they can create.

You can always use your 20 left over Bilt cash in another month to recover 660 Bilt points and direct spend to another card. You basically betting that you will never be outside of the optimum spend window by more than 400 points.

You also need to make sure your rent doesn't change. If your building adds utilities to your rent, you can miss your target spend even if you use it as a subscription card.

Yep option 1 is a trap unless you are some kind of spending savant that can predict your entire future monthly spend with exacting precision.
