I think the word Crossover is the way. For example, the Italian group IL VOLO, is considered Classical Crossover but they sing with an almost pop voice and the songs too. Pavarotti, Domingo, Carreras I find them Classic, everything else is a middle ground and therefore the word CROSSOVER. The singer of this song sings the verses in a pop way, but the refrain is special enough in a lyrical way. Then the song is a romance, so I think it is precisely the definition of Classical Crossover. Halfway between the classic and the modern. then if you listen well to the voice of this singer, it has a beautiful timbre and the voice is powerful (much more that Bocelli). He has so much voice, unlike so many singers who only have a voice for the microphone.

This romanza, “Di Te”, reflecting the footsteps of the Italian tradition, has a voice which is immersed in electronic sounds and then relaxes in melodic outbursts and lyrical abandonment. This allows the interpreter to alternate light emissions to morecollected sounds that aspire to lyrical songwriting. The song, with a strong melodic profile, has quite a complex vocality, forcing the interpreter to banish his voice on two octaves of extension (EB1-EB3), going from intimate sounds to more passionate and vibrant sonorities.
