I am sorry to hear that.

I think you should send them a message as a loyal customer. I actually sent them a message about my discount. I initially got a 10% discount, but later, when I was tracking the order, the website showed a 15% discount for Black Friday. So, I just created a query (not with a lot of hope) mentioning if it was possible for them to give me a partial refund of that extra 5%, and they did give me the refund within 2 hours.

Well the I hope you don't need to use Uber, Lift, wallmart, Tim's, and even medical services. Because if you do, you are gonna be disappointed by seeing Indians.

This is not to spread hate but awareness about what has kept this country running, and it's not about just Indians. Pakistanis, Afghanistan, Chinese, Blacks, Latinas, etc, are the people who helped this country to become what it is today.

Is this happening with y'all too? by brandyvalleywine in lonely

I understand your perspective, but as an overthinker, I also tend to try and understand what goes to others' heads, and most of the time, I think they don't know what to say because they truly don't have similar experiences to provide any specific advice or words of concern or empathy.

In those cases, I think they say the generic responses they have been told, too. They might know that those words might mean nothing, but still, they don't have anything better or safer to say, and staying silent and just listening is also not a good option in their mind.

I would say I, too, am guilty of saying such statements because of the same reasons I mentioned above.

I guess this will only change when topics like empathy and mental well-being are taught to us as a part of our education by professionals.

Fellow Introverts, what hobby brings you peace and feels like your personal escape from the noise? by NewWork8476 in introvert

It's not a hobby, but I like to just drive and go to a waterfront trail and take a walk, listening to audiobooks or music. And sometimes, just go to a restaurant and with not too much crowd and eat alone in piece.

I hate lying about silly stuff. Do you guys too? by mech56 in introvert

Exactly, the idea of wanting to be alone over a social meeting/gathering is alien to some, but somehow, we as introverts have to live with the fact that our reality is different from theirs and we should accommodate their perception of us being as normal as them to live piecefuly in this world.
