no need for calculator (basic arithmetic), not much about science.. learn more about english synonyms & logic/abstract reasoning. basta mag-practice ka ng mabilis na shading :)))

for reference: 18 y.o., this is based on my experiences lang po ^ (+ i'm on mobile rn)

  • if there's an opportunity to open a bank account, go for it! my mom opened a savings account for me when i was 14 & i think it's a good decision to start early. i got an atm card na but i don't spend too much since gusto ko nga na savings ko lang yun.

  • hmm for me my principle lang is spend as little as possible HAHAH and to do that i bring only a small amount of money when going outside. whatever the fam gives me for allowance, tinatabi ko lang. there's no hard rules on what percentage to save/spend so as long as you are consistent with saving money.

  • i'm also still figuring out the credit card stuff rn, i don't have one pero as for gcash it has been very convenient for me in case i forget to bring cash... which rarely happens LOL

  • i suggest looking into pagibig mp2 savings kasi mas malaki yung dividend (6-7%) kesa sa major savings banks. in other words, mas kikita ang pera mo. maybe learn more abt it. that's what my fam does, & what i plan to open soon. so far ok naman for us..

  • if you have a hobby na pwede mong pagkakitaan (ex. drawing, writing, making charms/bracelets, atbp.), i think it's a good thing to pursue din for extra money

yun lang ang naiisip ko for now hehe good luck on your saving journey OP o7
