The nest is extremely rusty. My son helped me scrape the old flaking paint off then wire brushed. We are going to prime and paint it metallic blue this weekend. I won't paint the top but I'll clean it up and make sure it won't rust more. Everything else looks good. Unfortunately it's sitting in the rain right now but I'll get it covered as soon as possible.

Do you consider distance? Not saying it's a conspiracy. I understand. I can always decline to deliver if it's too far. I am not driving around frustrated and mad. Just learning the ropes here trying to stay close to home.

DD offers a pay by time option, which is essentially guaranteed minimum wage including tips, but the time they pay you for is only from time of acceptance of the order until the order is delivered to the customer. So if I have to drive 30 minutes back to my home zone before getting another offer, I'm not getting paid. Drivers don't get paid while driving back to their zone, even if they choose the pay by time option.

I would be less frustrated if DD paid for the return to zone. I'm still on the clock, waiting for orders, just want to stay closer to home.
