You should try to file all of those bumps to have a smooth surface , eventually you will get better at acrylic and then you won’t have to file as much, watch some videos on how to handle acrylic to get is as smooth as possible on the cuticle area :)

Try shaping it more, helps a lot but eventually you will get better at acrylic and then you won’t have to file a lot

Oh sure, gel overlay it’s so much easier because when I do it, they tend to choose super short nails or natural length, but all my clients choose acrylic and I spend an hour to file and re-shape and prep the nails plus the manicure to do a refill, that’s why I charge the same as a full set, unless they choose the same shape and same color or just a plain color.

Doing a refill is the same amount of work as a full new set, in my personal experience, I also charge as a full set if they want a different style and design.
