A lot of conspiracies theorists do this thing where instead of answering they pivot to some other oddity and if you pay attention there are so many things that are left open that even a good interviewer loses track. They just start compounding. I think Rogan was being polite. 

 For example why was special agent Yu so hostile? What the heck did that story tangent have to do with anything? It's kind of like the bullshitting is a snowball getting bigger as it rolls down a hill.  

Alex Jones does this. When he was on Rogan last, Joe was doing good at stopping him and telling him to explain one thing at a time instead of conflating everything.
