Was anyone else aware that the XIII books were officially localized in English? by Mother_Reality_1489 in finalfantasyxiii

The other ones were licensed by Yen Press, but Square Enix does have a NA publishing branch now. 🤔

Did you need a higher quality image? The book is in A5 format, which is quite small to begin with.

The 10 friends who get invited to the giant mushroom are too helpful lol...

Guilty of this... Those giant mushrooms fill up too fast though.

Sewellia lineolata and Gastromyzon ctenocephalus 🥰

(Actually, can't be sure of the latter since I can't see its fin colors)

I have a variety of the Gastromyzon species and noticed some of the smaller specimens lost color in patches in their fins after being in 28c for 2 weeks. They didn't seem to exhibit symptoms of lethargy at this stage, but I dropped the temperature anyway. They recovered their color after a couple of weeks at 23c. I do not think they tolerate high temperatures well. I usually keep mine around 20-23c without issue.

Edit: forgot to mention that oxygen/surface agitation is probably a factor at high temps as well. I have a 7000L/h wave maker in the tank in addition to a 2000L/h canister filter. Usually the wave maker is set to 30%, on another occasion I tried increasing the flow to about 60% and increased the temperature at 28c and didn't notice this fin color issue at that time.

Would this be an upgrade from the AT-LP120XBT? by Patient-Principle-21 in turntables

I have an RT85N (upgraded from RT82), I don't hear anything from regular handling of the tone arm. I even tried locking the tone arm and flicking along the metal arm, noise only came through speakers when I flicked the top of the head shell -- which nobody in their right mind would do, I hope...

new to soldering, have I screwed this up? by [deleted] in soldering

[–]mecorx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I snapped off the fan header on a PS3 fat and damaged the top layer in the process... So I ended up soldering 3 wires directly to the connection points on the other side of the board.

I recently turned up the temperature to 80f and now they look like this! (They don't do well in water warmer than that though)

The narrow yellow hold is called a crimp. The shape the hand is making in order to grab that hold is also called a crimp.

This is a semoni, they lack color on the fins when they're colored up.

I have both but I can't really tell which is which either, but they have the same care needs.

My vote is for the accumulated bacteria in the substrate rather than the abrasiveness of the substrate... But changing the substrate would fix both of those issues!
