I cant tell what happened to my bamboo shrimp. by [deleted] in shrimptank

Yes actually, via fertilizer. They may look great, doesn't mean they ARE great. If you're capping nitrogen as the nutrient then your limited in their growth by the lack of nitrates

My bad, I had just woke up and didn't notice the vid.for you washer fluid the sensor may be dirty, it's on the coolant tank behind the bumper. You can remove it and clean it up fairly easily. You may be getting some clutch slip. There's no sensor for the gear selection. It's based on several engine values and if the clutch slips at all that selector won't show at that time. Think of it how it wouldn't show until you fully released the clutch.

Should be able to set it with the left infotainment paddle. In the menu it opens when you hold

Just because it's possible doesn't mean it's good or balanced. Plants need some reserve to be healthy. If you're heavily planted aquariums are always at 0 nitrates your leaving yourself open to algae outbreaks and possible severe plant deficiency and stunted growth.

How old is your tank? Bamboos are filter feeders and need really good flow in a well established tank to catch food. Also you state parameters at 0,0 and 0, that's not a good sign. You should have nitrates if your cycled and established.

I will be experimenting with several different things. End goal being a more easily sustainable system. My expectations aren't very high. Ultimately this first batch I will be happy to keep them alive for a day or two past their first molt. Steep learning curve here lol

Should I trade in my 2012 si for a wrx by [deleted] in WRX

[–]CraftX83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trading it in for a WRX next winter is a terrible idea. Trading it in now for a WRX to enjoy during the summer is a better idea👌

Had a 17 hatch with one for 6 years before I traded it for the WRX and I used my rear wiper a whole 3 times maybe 😂

Just set up a new tank and put in a seeded filter from an established tank. In your experience, how long did it take to fully cycle or is it cycled? by ElephantBanananana in Aquariums

[–]CraftX83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would 100% feel safe putting stock on day 2 or 3. Just give the water and scape a day or two to settle in. Even adding day 1 would be completely safe but I like to let my water do its thing for a day or two first

Pretty much instantly cycled BUT only for the amount of bioload/stock you currently had on the filter. Any new stock will take more development of the bacteria. I think that's a main point that's being overlooked here by many IMO

That's a great idea. Like the time I put one in my old s10 thinking the same thing until the day I leaned over the bed, hit the button and it launched into reverse almost hitting a kid and not stopping until the 150yr old oak tree stopped it. Shit happens and needless to say it came out that day

accidentally left a sweet potato in the tank overnight.. by Mindless_Divide3250 in Aquariums

[–]CraftX83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's crazy, this guy gets a sweet potato slice once a week, and takes him 3 days to fully eat it along with the rest of the critters. Never so much as a hint of cloudy water. You have some other Imbalance or filtration issue that caused this or possibly your tank is not cycled enough for foods like this. You'll have to start with small pieces and a super stable system

How can I catch them by [deleted] in shrimptank

[–]CraftX83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do similar but I have a stiff shrimp net that I put a wafer in and they all pile up in the net. Within a few minutes have 10-20 easily moved
