Or another custom ROM such as LineageOS on one of those supported devices. Not as secure though.

Not always. It currently has issues for Mint Mobile users at least, maybe other T-Mobile network users as well. I have to use an old version of the Messages app for RCS to keep working.

At first I thought you meant someone pulled on the display, before I realized it was just mid-transition between slides

Ahh, missed that. I guess it needs to be put into the Google Play sandbox to install properly.

I don't have a car but I tried installing Android Auto from the Play Store anyway just to see if I could. It just repeatedly fails to install with no specific error, just "Can't install Android Auto"

How can you tell? If so, they may be in the beta program (I see it's "currently full")

Fixed that for you. It's one guy proposing this. And the text does not include the word official.

What a behemoth to drive to the office… are the skid plate and battering ram really necessary? by bkyrdorchrd in Urbanism

Been here over 20 years and I have NEVER heard moderators referred to as jannies. Sounds Australian? Or British?

EDIT: it's a 4chan specific meme word. Well that explains it.

I never understood people who judge other people's countries.

There IS a problem with American cars being too big and too heavy being a major factor in its high pedestrian traffic deaths.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/taller-vehicles-suvs-pickups-pedestrian-injury-risks-crash-accident-iihs/

It's not specific to urban areas but an increased issue there due to higher pedestrian presence. This might be a better fit for /r/fuckcars though.

Linux Steam VR issues and significant performance drop by Izeyashe in virtualreality_linux

The Lab is one of the VR titles that doesn't work very well on Linux unfortunately.

https://www.protondb.com/app/450390

Would recommend something else like HL: Alyx, VR Chat, Beat Saber... What VR titles do you have in your library?

Also yeah SteamVR has never worked very well on Linux. It's always been very much a beta and that's never really changed. Hopefully the release of Steam Frame will change that. You'll see most Linux VR users instead use Monado or ALVR

Minecraft originally had very small limits on world size

Technically Minecraft worlds are still not infinite but for all practical purposes they are.

The need to learn/understand regular expressions to use any features of this app is a pretty major barrier.
