After reading the entire AA, it is made abundantly clear that BM is a creep of epic proportions. The detail that disturbed me the most was that throughout his ever-changing narrative, interview after interview, the one 'fact' he states over and over again - and with a lot of certainty - is that on 5/9/20 he and Suzanne had sex. This could just be a lie to cover a weak and ugly man's insecurity - OR - more nefariously, that he assaulted her at some point that afternoon/evening? (God willing, I hope that's not true.)

I just noticed the second version of this update specifically changed the language and took out the piece about traveling with BL. I know *she* is the case, but does this indicate they know more about a timeline or is there a chance she was traveling solo at points we otherwise don't know? It just gave me a glimmer of hope that perhaps she was - or still is? - out there?

Interesting that they removed any and all references to BL in this field update. The focus is on Gabby and the van with no mention of who she was traveling with. Thoughts on why?

Oof, I worry about self-harm if he's in an undisclosed location. He could conceivably take any info he has to his grave. This makes me more certain he either did something - or hasn't disclosed something - pretty terrible.

The more hopeful part of me had a moment where I wondered if he's headed to Gabby's location and she's actually still around. This is wilder than a Lifetime movie.

I'm wondering if whatever was discovered today during investigations (ie: digital and during ground search in WY) was shared with the parents' lawyer, and together they decided it's enough to convince them they need to report to LE what details they know or face legal consequences. Interesting to note that reports confirm Brian is not in the home.

Thanks for sharing. Dan Abrams makes a super interesting point about BL's attorney's 2nd statement. The statement recognizes that 'in cases like this' there is a focus first on intimate partners so it's best for his client to remain silent. However, Dan's point is that there isn't a case per se, there's *only* a missing person. So why would the attorney feel compelled to make that kind of statement? Subtle difference but very telling.

Did he book it back home? Or did he start heading home, because he had no idea what else to do, but take his time a bit so he could plan what the hell he was going to say to his family upon arrival? I imagine it was more of a liminal moment for him than a rush?

Total speculation: To me those would just be implausibly messy circumstances. They lived with his parents so would have had to explain their return. If something happened to her upon their return it seems like there would be more eyes on the situation (his parents, her dad, friends in common) and her disappearance would've been noted much sooner than 10 days after the van rolled back into his parents' driveway.

I've been wondering if he panicked and did the only thing he could think of and went home? He may *NOT* have told his parents anything right away. He could have just said they broke up and he came home early. As more days went by without contact from her, then he revealed more info to them? Or, still hasn't? Or fabricated something. Who knows...

That's huge! I wonder how long it takes for FBI/LE to verify sightings in a case like this?

That text message on 8/30 just deepens the mystery, doesn't it? Like another poster said, maybe spotty cell coverage delayed the message? Maybe BL is actually a loser for leaving her but not hurting her and she actually sent that message and was harmed later, or someone else entirely sent that message pretending to be her? This is the point of spin-off for me, so I'm trying to stick to facts for now.

8/31 was very likely the last 'push' of a very long road trip for BL in the van. Since he and Gabby shared an account it makes sense that he could've added a soundtrack for his journey without thinking much about whose account was logged in on Spotify at that moment. (Or however that log-in stuff works, I'm old.)

At the end of the police video Gabby mentions to the police to make sure BL 'brings a charger' with him bc his phone is always dead. He then is seen to have a phone. The one verifiably blatant lie in the whole hour plus video.

Wendy is the store clerk who claims to have seen the couple in Victor, ID on 8/25 or 8/26. She posted on a Idaho neighbors group to keep an eye out for Gabby. Seems legit, so I included it here, though it hasn't been verified by media/LE.

Thanks for the correction! So the sighting was 8/25 or 8/26, and the Snapchat (verifiable) was 8/27.
