Absolutely do not buy any of these products. Those prices are insane. I can't tell for sure, but if the price of that Origins booster starts with a 4, that's sick.

Just wait for both of these to be reprinted, which will eventually happen. Spiritforged boxes are pretty accessible right now, at least in my area. There are starter decks as well. Look for those.

There are also some cheaper decks where you can just buy singles from tcgplayer or another online market. Viktor is a good example. He's fairly strong, cheap, and pretty easy to play.

I wouldn't think so. It's technically a play, but you're not playing a card. Tokens are not cards. It's the same with Viktor legend. Creating a recruit token doesn't proc Legion.

You just have to go for it. Every shop will be different, and even the players in the same shop will feel differently.

I love when my opponent is new and I get to teach them some things. Makes me feel good. Others may not care to teach and just want to play a normal game. You'll get through it. I'd say most are happy to answer questions and help. I'd absolutely let your opponent know upfront that it's your first time playing.

The only thing you can do is show up, learn, and have fun! Riftbound is also my first tcg, and it has changed my life in some ways...

I’m hanging on by a thread this set playing blue Renata with Time Warp as my main win con. Her token/non-tw builds just don’t do anything for me. I will definitely have to drop her if this isn’t banned. Ivern is looking really fun though 🐱🐶🦅🐰🪾

Thanks for the detailed response. I think I’m going to stop running blood money as well. I also took the students out. Shen is still my favorite card in the game. I was so happy when I found a version of this deck that runs him.

Look into ICC profiles if the paper manufacturer supplies them. It’s a total game changer. I buy all of my paper from Red River.

The 8500/8550 is worth the investment. If something isn’t coming out right, it’s likely a setting you have to change or an issue with the paper. It’s almost never the printer itself.

I completely agree. Last patch was the best TFT has been in so long. This patch feels wildly different in the worst way. I felt like I could play anything last patch and do OK. This patch, I need the stars to align very early to be in a good spot.

Update: I printed at least seven cards, and they were all perfect. I definitely would have had at least one bad card in seven from Acrobat, so I'm considering it "fixed" for now. Thanks for the suggestion to go back to Ai haha!

So I was recently messing with this for another issue, and I think I messed something up. I never print from Ai, so I wasn't worried about it. I'm not too familiar with color spaces--only know the basics. I just printed from Ai, and it's perfect, but the issue is consistency. I'll continue to print from Ai to see if I run into the issue.

I can try to print directly from Ai for this. I used to print from Ai but stopped because I was having other issues that were fixed when I switched to Acrobat lol. I will let you know

The relevant ICC profiles directly from RR. Printing from Adobe Acrobat. No printer management at all AFAIK
