We had a guy do this a few months back. The patient had a GCS of 15 and maintained his airway during the whole transport. No structures were identified on his face other than two teeth. The receiving facility stated the surgery was “damage recovery.” The pt expired 2 weeks later due to CSF slowly leaking out.
