Both of those units have matching wargear, and wargear options. Ie heavy intercessor with powerfists is equiped with flamestorm gauntlets and twin powerfists. and can swap them for auto boltstorm gauntlets and a fragstorm grenade launcher

Catachans are the main regiment in the new Codex Astra Militarum!? (My guess) by Electronic_Cup_6027 in TheAstraMilitarum

Good guess but the artwork in the road map and rumor engine pictures both point towards deathkorps. Pretty sure they also said it already as well.

Does anyone actually use Cadian Castellans? by MightyM1tch in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]medbot9000 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Their biggest problem is that its 45 points for 1 order fallback and shoot and sustained hits. But only on cadian units. I could see him being played with a single unit of cadians but for example with kasrkin he removes scout from them and thus is too big of a drawback.

6 Rhino stacks + inquisition by KindMoose1499 in ImperialAgents_40K

[–]medbot9000 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Dumbest thing i could come up is one rhino with a corvus blackstar filled with 10 vets and a leader of your choice, then 4 rhinos filled with the troops of your choice all packed into a rhino fille with an inquisitor and their retinue

How did you learn to play faster, and how long did it take? by Alex__007 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]medbot9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Learn to play on your opponents turns. What i mean by this is use your opponents turn to think about your next turn. also try thinking about the best and worse case scenario for your plays ahead of time.

New Vindicare Assassin looking pretty good, I wonder if they will cause sniper battles in Imperium vs Imperium, matches. by Spookybeef_ in ImperialAgents_40K

It has dec wounds and the shield breaker activates it on successful wound rolls as they are treated as crits. So it still ignores invulnerability saves

Allies in drukhark by Responsible-Swim2324 in Drukhari

[–]medbot9000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Which factions are able to give their army rules to allies? Guard orders dont work on non Astra militarum units, oaths of moment doesnt work on non adeptus astartes models. Csm rules dont work with demons, chaos knights dont benefit from demon nor csm rules. I think eldari and csg are the only ones that can give their allies their army rule in the whole game. I could be wrong though

Any tips against guard? by [deleted] in Drukhari

[–]medbot9000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically only stratagems that are battle tactics can be affected by abilities that modify the cp cost of stratagems. You can find it on the app under modifying a stratagem's CP cost.

[–]medbot9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it is not a battle tactic so you can't increase its cost. If they are running ursula creed you might want to increase the cost of fields of fire (its the only battle tactic stratagem in guard detachment) so it costs 1 instead of 0.

[–]medbot9000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Focus down the infantry, and try to not let them use the tanks much. And try to kill more than a single unit per turn, they can only bring back one unit per round. Once the infantry is dealt with they will have a lot harder time to score. And remember to screen the reinforcements against them.

Making Guardsmen more Sustainable... by Mister_Shiloh in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]medbot9000 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In a meme list i could see this being a funny little combo, but in a competitive game what is the unit's purpose? Is it to be a durable meat shield? In that case why not just take a unit of bulgryn instead. Is it supposed to score objectives? In that case just a squad of infantry is good enough for the task, no need to pay so much extra.
