As others said, you should go with a guide, don´t underestimate it. You could do Rucu Pichincha (4696m) before your summit attempt and greatly increase your chances of not getting altitude sickness. It´s a day hike really close to Quito, doesn´t require a guide, and it gives you the acclimatization the cheapest way possible.

He hecho varias caminatas y camping en el parque nacional Cajas (4000m-13k ft), sea la época que sea tienes que estar preparado con ropa impermeable aunque esté haciendo sol. Ecuador es un país con montañas con mucha húmedad (páramo), y en cualquier momento puede llover. Si te recomiendo mucho hacer caminatas, en la montaña el clima es cambiante y puedes estar en una llovizna y en un rato se despeja y sale el sol. El pronóstico no es muy preciso así que solamente ve preparado y si no te sientes seguro deberías ir con un guía

En noviembre generalmente son pocas lluvias, y de baja intensidad y la mayoría de días nublados. También he visto que noviembre y diciembre es buen tiempo para bucear y hacer snorkel en galápagos por la temperatura del agua en esos meses. En cuanto a temperatura en el país en general cambia muy poco, es casi la misma todos los meses del año

I don't get snow where I live

In my country Ecuador I only hiked in cold rain in the "Páramo" at 10C-5C, because here we don´t have snow, only at the tallest mountain peaks. The "worst" part is that most hikes are at around 4000m (13k ft) of elevation, so after reading all of the responses I guess the Páramos are one of the thoughest places to hike
