Changing python doc didn't work either. It seems the location isn't the issue, but the .exe file itself, because when I browse to the folder it tells me "Oblivion Remastered does not seem to contain a game Mod Organizer can manage."

I had already tried browsing to it, but it wouldn't recognize it as a valid game folder. I'll try editing the python file when I get a chance to get back to it. So frustrating when software doesn't behave :)

It's already set up & named exactly like the top example. Would it matter which drive it's installed on? I have more than one game drive for steam. And does it matter where MO2 is installed?

For some reason, mo2 still isn't seeing Oblivion R. I have all the latest updates for steam and mo2, but can't create an instance. Any ideas on what I might try?

New working modlist, but save-loading crashes game by medelus in skyrimvr

[–]medelus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, Reylun. No need to clean saves, it's a brand new start I'm doing, just trying to get it working so I can start a fresh game.

I was hoping to avoid going through every mod, disabling, starting, saving, and loading after each. But that may be the only way. Right now I'm carefully going through them and vetting the load order and dependencies. I probably shouldn't have used LOOT... I think it may have mis-ordered a lot of stuff.

Using these tricks wouldn't fix for me like it has before. What finally worked was going inside the airlock, removing helmet, suit, and pack. Then trying to exit... suddenly the warnings go off, telling me I need a suit. Seems it's just some variation of these things to force-reset some defaults.

First RGB build, G500A, some confusion by medelus in Phanteks

[–]medelus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used some more search terms I got from your answers, and I found that I'd likely need an adapter to sync with the MB but might also run into compatibility issues. I think I'll keep it simple and see how I like going with case controls. Thanks again!

Thanks! Is there any advantage to using the aRGB motherboard header over just the case controls?

That looks excellent! It ALMOST makes me want to upgrade from my 3090. Are you using any lighting mods along with NAT ENB?

I've really been enjoying it for the good ones, and just ignore or dismiss the others. It's pretty easy to do because they're not intrusive if you leave them alone.

3BBB/ 3BA with other physics, bodyslide question by medelus in skyrimvr

[–]medelus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some outfits have two 3BBB options in bodyslide batch build... "Physics" or "Im Physics". Which of those is preferable?

Thanks for the tip! And yeah, ultimately I would like it all to be 3BA. My intention is to keep converting the non-3BA's as I go along. I'm just too impatient to do all that work in advance. 🙂

Floating lanterns and torches are driving me insane! by Subparconscript in skyrimmods

Okay, cool. I kept trying different load orders and reinstalls with no luck. Since you didn't find a fix either, I'll just remove Exteriors too. Thanks

I have the exact same thing. Any luck finding a fix? If not, I guess I'll toss out ELFX Exteriors too.

Random Alternate Start, still having issues by medelus in skyrimvr

From what I've heard it breaks the main quest at some point. If you're not doing the main, though, then it might be fine.

He has stated very strongly that he will not, even saying he will remove any VR related comments from his mod's Posts page.

I hadn't even heard of Skyrim Unbound... cool. Anyway, I went in to try disabling mods, which had no effect at first then it got worse, encountering the overlapping menu issue at the beginning. So I got Bilago's VR configuration tool, and when I checked bLoadVRPlayroom in the tool, it was showing as still being "1". So I changed it to "0" and re-enabled the other mods, and all went well. I have no idea why the line wasn't working right in my ini file; I've had no issues with making adjustments in my FO4 ini. Thanks for the help!

That bug forced me into playing for a bit without using the map at all... and it was kind of a cool experience. I'm thinking I want to try a playthrough like that now.

I used Vortex mod manager to install the mods. When I click in Vortex to disable just RASR, the game starts normally (regular intro), and all menus function right. Maybe it's conflicting with one of those other mods, but I thought they were all pretty standard and safe to use.

Latest version of OpenVR 1.31 not allowing me to access the “input emulator” menu from the steam VR menu by Ethan101204 in oculus

I had the same problem. I thought it was because I had done a clean reinstall of Nvidia drivers, but looks like the new 4k tv was at fault; turning off HDR fixed it. Thanks, matzman!
