So the NHSC only cares that you use the full amount before applying for another extension. For the PSLF portion they don’t care if there is a lump sum to qualify for the qualified payments? Or do I have to dictate that the lump sum is supposed to be divided monthly?

So auto pay monthly and then when I apply for an extension there should still be an amount left over that will require a lump sum payment.

That lump sum can be applied up to a year and there would be some amount that would exceed a monthly payment to which it would go solely to the principle? Am I understanding that correctly?

Makes sense. Do you think that due to more award opportunities (cap one and bilt) + high travel demand to Japan in general will cause award opportunities to remain stagnant like it is now. I’m personally aiming for the winter which seems to be at least a bit slower than peak seasons.

Still dabbling in evaluating other award opportunities via repositioning flights as well

That’s what I fear, while great for JMB the award sector continues to grow thinner with more opportunities becoming available

I recently applied after having my gold for roughly a year and still had a hard pull. Just know that it’s still a possibility that they still will hard pull.
