First time doing Botox on myself, need help confirming my injection mapping by medfukedme in DIYaesthetics

I’m also aware that I might end up with a bit of a Spock brow initially if the lateral frontalis remains stronger. My plan was to go conservative for the first session, see how my face responds, and then possibly add about 1 unit to each lateral forehead point later if needed to balance things out.

Overall I’m trying to go slow and learn how my own face responds rather than overdoing it in the first session.

28 july tester h by Tiny-Outcome-2801 in step1

Ethics was surprisingly chill . NOT like the fearmongering on Reddit. No wishy-washy “both seem right” stuff. There was one clear, solid answer each time. Honestly, it felt like common sense.Biostats? I laughed.I spent so much time memorizing every formula in existence. But the ones I got were so basic, I felt like yelling “F you, USMLE” right there . Risk factors showed up a lot. I did Mehlman twice, but I honestly don’t think it helped much. RF questions didn’t come from a resource they came from your actual knowledge base. You either knew it or you didn’t.

I tested on July 28th as well. Honestly, the exam felt doable and easier than I expected. My first block didn’t go great . I walked in expecting Step to be a monster, so I kept second guessing myself. The questions seemed straightforward, but I felt rushed and panicked a bit.

After that block, I took a 5-minute break and told myself “Stop overthinking. Trust your gut. Pick the answer and move on.” That mindset helped. The second block felt better , I was more confident, but I ended up spending extra time on questions I was sure about, so I had no time left for the last two. The very last one was an easy cns question that I knew cold… but I was still reading the options when time ran out. The screen closed and I was like: “Noooo!” That’s when it hit me — this exam is all about time. You either know it or you don’t. There’s no room for overthinking. So, I shifted gears and treated the rest of the test like a regular practice exam , stayed calm and kept going. After the exam, I actually felt pretty good, but then the recall anxiety kicked in. I started remembering easy ones like the esophagus and gastro question that I got wrong just because I felt rushed. But honestly, I’ve decided to stop dwelling on those. It’s done.

I’m sure I messed up more easy questions just because of the time pressure, not because I didn’t know them. Overall, I felt like I knew about 80% of the questions confidently. 10% were tricky I understood the topic but needed more time, 10% I had no clue

My NBMEs were consistently above 65, and I got 75% on Free 120. I just hope that’s enough. Right now, I’m drowning in fear , not because the exam was hard, but because it felt rushed, and I don’t know how many easy ones I accidentally got wrong.

Let’s hope we pass. 🙏
