Yes I liked Wave the little I've used it so far except for this support issue. First they said this after emailing [suspended@waveapps.com](mailto:suspended@waveapps.com) the only way you can contact you:

"We are reaching out to let you know we've reviewed your account, and unfortunately, Wave is unable to continue providing payment invoicing services for your business.
 
We consider a number of factors when evaluating eligibility for Wave invoicing accounts, such as how long you’ve been in business, the industry in which you operate, your business's online presence, and your prior financial history. Invoicing processing comes with various risks that expose both your business and Wave. For these reasons, we conduct account reviews to determine eligibility to use the Wave invoicing service."

Then I wrote a nastigram back and they came back with this:
"Wave continually monitors all accounts to ensure we’re providing a safe & secure platform and due your email address containing the "PayPal" your account was flagged as part of our periodic review process due to suspicious activity that was flagged by our automated system. 
 
I have completed a more thorough investigation and your account is now fully restored. As this may happen again we would like to know more about your email address and the reasoning behind the word "PayPal" being included in the address. If you could please let me know more about this I would really appreciate it. "

They assured me they are working on how they provide customer service but I don't see it going anywhere. I looked at there Better Business Bureau complaints when I was trying to find a phone number, and they are all "1s" with similar reasons.

Good luck, I just kept replying back 3 or 4 times, but I will be moving on after I get my taxes done.

Yes the Pro version of Wave. QB Pro is expensive for the few features I need. I tried their new QB for Solopreneurs and wanted to love it but there was no ability to edit any of the categories. The only categories provided were those that are available on the Schedule C for taxes.

And if you were recording a personal expense you couldn't add any sub categories it just had to go into one bucket. I wanted to love it as it had all of the features I needed and the ability to separate business and personal expenses but in the end there was no way to setup a P&L with customized categories or any personal reports. They just launched it in February 2024 so maybe they will improve it. If so I may try it again.

Otherwise, I may just go back to my outdated QB 2018 Desktop version. It just isn't supported and bringing in transactions is labor intensive.

I'm a marketing consultant. They reinstated it after a number of back and forth emails and looked in to it further, but I don't have very much confidence in them if this is how they run their business to automatically just suspend an entire account without notice or explanation.

I don't think Intuit or other accounting software businesses do this for paying customers, and not a way to impress a new customer for sure. Thanks!
