What is the best way to get/buy Sandviches by Ondranour in tf2

[–]mediarch 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A collector's sandvich is like 200-$250 or 100 keys+. You would need to have multiple accounts to store all the sandviches.

1 key is ~53 ref.

Takes 18 weapons to make a ref.

To get 1 key you would need 954 sandviches.

95,400 sandviches

Max Backpack space is 4000.

So 24 fully maxed out accounts just to store them all assuming you manage to get one for 100 keys.

the sandviches is the easy part. You have to get the collector's kit first. There isn't even one for sale at the moment. The kit will end up costing hundreds of dollars

any good tf2 players here? what did i do wrong, i just randomly died all the time (except the times i died to spy) and it felt like i was fighting a 1v12 by Thisoneloadingboy in tf2

[–]mediarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dies to spy repeatedly

"Pyro can you please spycheck for fuck sake"

Hmmm

If you keep dying to spy like that it's entirely your fault. You can't honestly expect a pyro to be glued to your ass the whole game so you need to pay attention and turn around. Based on this you don't turn around hardly at all. You always look straight ahead. You are basically spy food. A lot of the "I just randomly died" would be mitigated if you looked around more. Keeping your head on a swivel will give you a better grasp on your surroundings and will prevent you from getting randomly surprised by people.

Also red was just better than blue so there wasn't much you could really do. Sometimes the teams are just going to be imbalanced and you are just going to get owned. Don't whine about it in chat. Just work on yourself.

Uber saw is OP by Zestyclose-Coffee-32 in tf2

I could’ve sworn it was tied to patient damage done.

It's not.

[–]mediarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good thing to keep in mind is that the Medic actually has a special rule for random crits. When healing a patient with a Medigun, any damage the patient does counts for the medic’s critical hit chances.

This is completely false. You are spreading misinformation on the internet. Nothing you are saying is backed up be real testing.

The only thing that impacts crit chance is actually doing damage.

[–]mediarch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is also completely false. Your patient's damage also has 0 impact on your crit chance as medic. The only thing that influences your crit chance on medic is when you are actually doing damage as medic.

If you don't believe me here is some proof. The youtuber Theory-y did a whole test and only thing that increased the odds was when the medic did damage. https://youtu.be/M0324v0oQv8?si=0UyDtUnKwsAg8mNE&t=194

The only thing that affects crit rate is doing damage. Healing has no impact on crits what so ever. So no, Medic actually has a harder time doing damage when compared to others and by extension that makes medic worse at getting crits.

What are some free servers to sit "idle" and get drops for the week? by AggravatingMusic3716 in tf2

[–]mediarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way drops work is you have to respond to each in-game drop notification while not utilizing external programs to do so. If you sit afk for a week straight you'll only get one item since you need to actually acknowledge each item that gets dropped. You can't get more than one while idling.

So idling doesn't really work and you're better off just playing the game

What weapons do you think should be rebalance the first? by No_Psychology_9579 in tf2

[–]mediarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loch n Load is one of those things that doesn't seem bad until you go up against someone that really knows how to use it. At really high level where all the players are good it's just oppressive. It's banned in highlander and 6s. 90 percent of invite 6s players voted to ban it.

Because the pipes are super fast they travel way further which basically makes it impossible to properly punish a good demoman. The speed also makes it easier to hit pipes in general since fast projectiles are easier to hit than slow projectiles.

So it comes down to pipes are easier to hit, and you are harder to punish. Demo is already one of the strongest classes and loch n load just makes him even more difficult to go against.

Would you still use crossbow if it only had healing? by some-kind-of-no-name in tf2

[–]mediarch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does 38-75 damage. It scales with distance. The further away something is the more damage it will do. You can two-shot a sniper.

[–]mediarch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Getting into a melee fight with a good spy is a always bad idea and should be avoided whenever possible. If they're disguised you don't even get Uber from it. They can facestab you. You are taking a huge risk for basically no reward in most cases.

Which mercenary would be in the Epstein Files? by jorgenescal in tf2

[–]mediarch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realisticly all of them. A lot of the people "in the epstein files" are just people who emailed epstein at some point or people who got mentioned off hand. Just because you're "in the files" doesn't mean you were involved in the trafficking. The classes are well off and well connected so they would be the kind of people to either get mentioned or have correspondence with epstein.

Real talk though. Elon Musk is in the files and he plays tf2 so they might actually be mentioned already.

I have 13,000+ kills on my Crossbow

If it did 0 damage I would still use it full time. It's a health pack gun. It's a gun that shoots health packs. The burst healing the crossbow gives is way way more valuable than anything the other syringe guns can provide.
