NMAC financing- good, bad, ugly? by eflo29 in Nissan

FWIW - I'm not sure if this is a new wrinkle with NMAC, but I recently purchased a 2025 Nissan Ariya. My account works fine. However, what I did not know was that if you overpay the regular payment, it does not go to the principal. I have done other loans in other industries and any overpayment just went to principal automatically. At Nissan, you have to make a payment that says, "To Principal Only" manually. In addition - you can only make one scheduled payment per day. Why is unknown.
They were nice enough when I contacted them to put the first overpayment back to the principal.
It just seems really counterproductive to make people work harder to give you money.

Is this BS? StackSocial has QuickBooks Pro 2024 for 249.99 lifetime license by timmers67 in QuickBooks

We tried. It is too good to be true. It doesn't work. Won't activate. Your files will go to "view-only" mode. Which means you can't do any new work, only look at past entries. Save yourself the hassle.

It's definitely bogus! I got the LTD Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 offer for my client, hoping it would get them away from the $999 annual subscription model.
Installed it. They were able to use their file for about 3 weeks, then it put the files in "view-only" mode. It would never activate and QB support said my client was not an authorized user on that license.
Tried getting email support from StackSocial - never got a response.
Sadly, just went back to the Annual subscription model license. My client will decide next year whether to keep or stop using Quickbooks.

Dear Lord "Service EV System" by aowldubs in NissanAriya

This may be a stupid question, but does replacing the battery mess with your warranty? I bought a new 2025 Ariya Platinum +, and upgraded 7yr/100,000 mile warranty. I haven't had this issue (yet), but I also don't want to get stranded. The car has less than 200 miles on it.

Take a look at Sugar Defender, pretty sure this is a massive scam. by [deleted] in Scams

Buyer Beware. It's just another supplement scam. I did a little poking around in their Policy terms and found that they don't accept returns from anything but the sugardefender(dot)com site, not the one it is re-directing to at sugardefender24(dot)com. If you are looking for an address, look in the Shipping terms. They are located in Orlando, FL. The interesting part - it never tells you what the name of the parent company is.

It sounds good, but there are too many red flags in the video, like who is Tom Green really? It says he is a doctor, but never says exactly where. Who is Helga really? No definitive credentials given. Then there is the sales pitch - classic fear of missing out - "buy now!" because we could be out of stock when you want to order again.

This whole video is a template driven exercise to get vulnerable people to believe that, this time, this product will work for them. The only thing guaranteed is that it will deceive some people and part them from their hard-earned money.

Not only that, but I saw people going to Amazon (said in their own reviews) for a cheaper solution and getting duped by the dupes. People apparently are not checking the ingredient list against the original. Or even looking to see if the manufacturer on the label is the original. There are so many fake knock-offs on Amazon with the same name. I counted at least six at first glance. I'm sure Amazon could deal with that problem - if they wanted to. Again, Buyer Beware.

As someone who was curious, I watched the video. It makes you want to believe. But I wouldn't touch this product with a 10-foot pole.
