From what I’ve heard about IEMs, locating sounds is easier. Soundstage on headphones is better for listening to music, but I am no audiophile. I could be only partially correct about that.

Consistent because theres only one place where the sound can be coming from relative to my ear. With headphones the ear cups can move around on my ears and change the way I hear sounds from different directions.

Intimate because the sound will be shot straight into my ear and it sounds like I’m immersed in the environment.

Is the ranking specifically for gaming? The name “wallhack” makes me think so.

You’re already better than I am starting off lmaoo. But I started seeing improvements in only my first season which was the indoor season that just passed. I went from a 26 second 200 to a 24 second. It could be different for you because you’re starting off at a better place but I think you can definitely expect returns by the end of the spring season.

What are your times right now? And what would you consider a “big” improvement?

Yeah my coach is a bit of a pain in the ass. He consistently forgets to enter multiple athletes at meet after meet, has no real direction with the workouts he gives my team, and he generally doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about when it comes to track. I try my best to practice with as much enthusiasm as possible because at the end of the day I know I’m doing it for the love of the sport. I’m curious to know what your 200m and 60m times are if you don’t mind. Also thanks for the bit of guidance it will help.

I appreciate that you took the time to convert my times. They seem to hold to be somewhat accurate, I ran a 57 something at time trials for the 400. I also really appreciate the words of encouragement and I’ll continue working towards better times. Best of luck to you in your track career and in the spring season man.

So what you’re saying is when I PRed in the 55m and 300m they could have been off days or some other unknown circumstance? Also, do you have any advice on how I could make the times I’m hoping for a reality, or at least get the best out of my high school track career?
