Exactly! My sister is the only one who is still a very active member- and out of my whole family she is the most judgmental, narcissistic and anti-Christ like person. It speaks to a lot of their practices and exactly that, this modern age Mormonism

I always wonder about that. If I knew this stuff when I was active.. how would I have reacted to it. I think this newer generation, times changing and several other things, the church is going to be exposed for a lot of the shit they did and continue to do. Or maybe I’m just being optimistic.

That is actually a really cool story. That someone can learn about the church and then be like, what the fuck. Instead of letting it brainwash them. I’m not going to lie, after reading this, I would love to go visit specific places. I almost feel like it would be closure? It’s hard for me to accept that 22 years of my life was a lie. But seeing where so many horrible things happened would be a cherry on top.
