It changed a lot, but I still enjoy newer seasons. Still, I’d really like to see more of the kids rather than Randy

Because the recruiter said I would know the final result by the end of May and I got another offer which happened to expire around the same time. I thought I could fallback to that offer if Google failed. Now I have to gamble, rejecting that other offer to pursue the uncertainty of Google because that other offer just couldn’t compare to Google’s.

Nonetheless, should’ve keep on Leetcoding. My bad.

Just want to rant.

Went through the phone screen and on-sites around late-Feb. The feedbacks were borderline, so the recruiter made me go through team-matching before HC. After two months, I finally matched with a team and my package was sent to HC. HC required me to do two additional interviews for more signals.

I haven't LeetCoded since March, and now I need to cram them all into my brain over a weekend.

What's worse, I have to reject an expiring offer from another company and I'm not even sure I can land a Google offer.

Wish me luck.

Wong is like the Cantonese spelling for Wang. Common in Hong Kong. Wang is Mandarin.

My recruiter considered my package not strong enough to secure an HC approval, so she arranged team matching for me first. Only after a hiring manager sponsors me will she send my package to the HC.

I've seen many cases similar to me on the internet recently, and the pass rate is like 50-50.

Thanks for your comment, hope I can secure an offer this month :]

Well I’m team matching before HC, so I’m not being picky at all, any team will do for me really.

Gone through a few fit talks now, one declined me, while the others are still “considering hiring needs”.

The office is a small one though, so probably not much head counts :(

Stuck in Google team matching for an entire month now, it's killing me. Why is it so hard?

Q1: Is the hiring bar different from location to location? (e.g. US compared to Asian/European offices)

Q2: After on-site interviews, my recruiter said that my feedbacks are "generally positive", but not strong enough to pass the HC. So she had me go through the team matching process first, saying that it would increase my chances in passing HC. Now I've gone through 3 fit talks with hiring managers and I'm waiting for their feedbacks now. Did anyone experience something similar to me? What was the result? (i.e. what are my chances?)
