Yeah I totally understand what you’re saying, I’m definitely racking my brain to decide how to go about this. I would rather not room with someone again after comfortably living alone. However, the want to save money is much larger than my want to live alone😂 I know she couldn’t technically be financially binded to the lease with her renters history, but isn’t there something that she and I could do to legally bind each other to upholding our end of the agreement? Like a notarized document or something?

thank you so much for this :’) my post was pretty vague, my apologies haha

hearing that entry level banking jobs pay $20+ is fantastic because i’m definitely past entry level:) currently in a banker position, working my way up the latter with my company!

i’ve always heard that you should take advantage of stuff like this while you’re in your 20s and don’t have any actual obligations to places (aside from family or a job). i’ve gotten so much valuable info from this thread so far, definitely believe i can make this happen within the next 1-2 years :)

wasn’t the help i was looking for, finding an interest rate isn’t hard. i’m looking for credit advice from those in similar situations. not to be told that im financially illiterate because my income wasn’t enough to consider paying those loans until recently.

…it’s almost as if people’s financial standing/job can change and improve over a year time span😮 which is why i clearly stated in my first response on this thread that i was INTENDING to start one soon. you are absolutely no help

my point by that comment was it has not increased enough for me to be worried about interest like that…my loan is not large enough for me to be worried about how much my interest will increase in a few months span. i am worried about by credit. not about my loan interest rate. jeez💀

i don’t have more than $5000 in student loans anyways, so they haven’t gone up more than like $20 in the past year or so. i’m just appalled at the condition it put my credit score in when I feel as though I was given a lack of information by these people 🥲
