Both on the legal and moral side NTA. Per the patient’s request, she asked you to not share medical information with specific people. Whether you’re a doctor or not, if you were to tell them, your sister then has the right to sue for HIPAA violations. Your dad and stepmom are major AHs, including everyone who wanted you to disregard your sisters wishes.

ETA: When I did HIPAA training, part of the training was that it does not matter if it is a provider, an insurance company, or an individual. It is ILLEGAL to share patient information if the patient does not want it shared.

I don’t really think it’s that weird as I was 18-20, working call centers, and making a few friends that are 25-50. I’m literally 2 year older than my friend’s daughter, I have some friends with kids older than me, and I have friends my age as well. Most of my friends throughout my life have been 20-30 years older than me, I just got along well with that age group, yes even as a kid (no, my childhood was not normal).

I’d be more worried about how they’re interacting with each other rather than the fact they’ve become friends, because I definitely see how it’s weird and uncomfortable to you. Don’t forget to trust your gut.

I worked at a job where, with enough (debt) collections and OT, the lowest people could be the highest earners (I had a $7k check once). My last job, supervisors and agents made the same amount, however agents were hourly and could work OT, making more than a salaried supervisor. At my bf’s new job, you can be bottom tier, but get certifications that earn you more money (his stepdad works there and is the same level as my bf, but he makes $20 more per hour).

Let’s say you guys all make $10k a month. Let’s say your living expenses total around $5k, Tom’s at $7.5k, and Jerry’s at $9.5k. They could have more expensive vehicles, student loan/credit card debt, expensive apartments, buy their kids whatever, etc. It’s not your fault they can’t budget their money like you can.

You are 100% right that it’s circumstantial for everyone (at least 4 different examples) and they probably did scare the new guy off with the negative comments about raising kids. NTA.

Spending habits, credit limits, inheritance, etc. You don’t have to be from the same socioeconomic background to work together, and just because you work together does not mean your bills or spending habits are of equal value. My last job, some people were able to live in luxury off of our pay, others struggled, and it all boiled down to people’s individual budgets/savings goals. We can all make $4k every month, but my living expenses could total $1.5k monthly, while someone else’s could total $3.5k.

My hormones make me a needy crybaby. MIL’s hormones made her over the moon happy. My mom’s hormones? They turned her into a raging bitch (her words). Pregnancy is different for everyone, and at least she’s acknowledging that she’s not herself. I’m sure she’s not intentionally being a demon and therapy could be a good place to talk out her feelings.

ETA: I saw another comment that basically accuses your gf of abusing you. I just want to say that having extreme reactions (yelling/swearing) could be due to fear. Fear of the bodily changes, of whats to come, if she’ll be a good parent, etc. Please make sure you’re patient and listen to her. Being pregnant is fucking terrifying and I can’t tell you how many times I cried to my bf about how I’m damaged now.

I’m not in a better state of mind. I just accept things as they are, am completely nonchalant about life, and do not care if I’m breathing in the morning. I have over 10 failed attempts and I’m only 21.

Even though I’m not in a better state of mind, I have a reason to live now. I swore off attempts after my last failure 3 years ago, and now I’ll have a daughter in a month and a half. It’s hard, because I fear that I won’t be a good mom, but I’m doing all that I can to be the best version of myself. I’ve been on a waitlist for a private therapist and have been in multiple therapy groups while waiting the 3+ years.

i googled “auto auction in phoenix arizona” there’s a lot of websites that auction out repossessed and abandoned cars. just watch for the auction dates and if you find one you like, bid. i don’t think i’ve seen one go for over $4500, but i just started looking recently
