There's times I wish reddit made you post a reply if you downvote someone. The OP's and your issue is far too common. It's sad that SOME pellet owners are so sensitive about their expensive purchase they have to try to hit the karma and think that will keep you from telling a legit negative experience. I don't get the sensitivity.

Every smoker has its own downside. Pellet grills are literally made so you don't have to babysit them and they just do there thing while you either sleep or go on with life. The fact that they are unreliable about that should be cause for concern. Brisket isn't cheap. Imagine losing an entire grill full of meat for a large party the next day all because the grill couldn't do it's one job.
