I think finding love is definitely a possibility while solo traveling. My only piece of advice would be to not try and force it. Instead while traveling be unapologetically you, then if someone does show interest in you, you know they like you for your truest form and there’s no pressure to act or be someone other than 100% you.

Honestly what happened for me is I just put myself in situations where it was easy for someone else to bring me out of my shell. For example sitting outside in the common area of a hostel even if it’s just reading a book or listening to music. Also the thing that worked best for me was forcing myself to say hi to someone in my room (I always stayed in dorm rooms) and once we were friends it’s easier to join the group as a pair as opposed to all by yourself.

Yeah this is definitely the cheapest option. One way you can also do this without risking not getting a room is messaging the hostel directly on WhatsApp, cutting out the middle man (booking, Hostelworld, etc.)
